尋覓．微笑．遇見．王老王

Neutrinos, they are very small.
微中子，它們是如此渺小
They have no charge and have no mass.
既不帶電荷也沒有質量
And do not interact at all.
也不因隨他物而起舞
The earth is just a silly ball.
相形之下，地球簡直像個蠢蛋
To them, through which they simply pass,
它們在之中，輕易來去
Like dustmaids down a drafty hall,
如同清潔婦走下透風的走廊
Or photons through a sheet of glass.
或似光子穿過玻璃片片

They snub the most exquisite gas,
它們睥斥精緻絕倫的氣體
Ignore the most substantial wall,
無視堅固無雙的牆
Cold-shoulder steel and sounding brass,
鋼鐵尚且冷眼對待，何況銅響得叮叮噹噹
Insult the stallion in his stall,
廄中的駿馬落到了嗤之以鼻的份上
And, scorning barriers of class,
階級的藩籬又怎能入眼
Infiltrate you and me! Like tall,
透滲進了你我！像座高昂
And painless guillotines, they fall,
且無痛的斷頭臺，它們墜落般地飛翔
Down through our heads into the grass.
穿了你我的頭顱滾進了草地上

At night, they enter at Nepal,

And pierce the lover and his lass.

大意是醬的：
有個東西在宇宙間特立獨行，無孔不入，
自視甚高，把別人都當笨蛋，

三不五時就自以為看透所有真相，順帶地就判一下生死，
晚上時又愛跑到別人家床底去偷看閃光辦事。
